We've been vacationing in our favorite rural haunts in central New York state for a week and a half, but with the one bar of signal my husband gets on his phone discovered my article "In Defense of Fast Food" published today at the digital magazine Think Christian.

I'm kind of chuckling because while I have firm opinions about food, fast food and organic food I am in no way an expert -- just a weak-willed observer. I'd love for you to join in the conversation at Think Christian's facebook page. By the look of things, I might need all the help I can get.
We drove out of the boonies to find a wi-fi hotspot in order to get online. We had to choose between McDonald's or mom 'n pop shop for our free connection. For the record, we chose the locally-owned Country Kitchen.
